step ahead in head protection.

SCHUBERTH. Pioneering helmets, “Made in Germany“.

You might have noticed, we like to work with pioneers, and SCHUBERTH is not like any other. Writing helmet history since the 1950s, SCHUBERTH continues to impress customers, dealers and critics worldwide with their quality and innovative spirit. With its origins firmly rooted in the industrial safety and military helmet industries, they are now the biggest producers of head protection in Germany. Protecting people from impacts for decades, we had the chance to make an impact with the brand, creating pioneering new products for future markets.

Becoming a market leader means exceeding expectations. And sometimes radical steps are required to stay ahead of the game.

SCHUBERTH has always been the trusted brand for experienced riders. With the C3 flip-up helmet, they created the pinnacle of touring helmets.

But, one should never rest on their laurels and sure enough future markets demanded a more diverse portfolio. After questioning everything, we helped SCHUBERTH develop their helmet line-up for the coming years - enhancing the brand's pioneering image and satisfying a new generation of riders and dealers.

Let the product be the carrier of your brand.

Graphics play a critical role in communicating a brand's values. Graphics also define the look of a helmet more than anything else. So, for us, SCHUBERTH's helmets had to be the most tangible touch point for redefining and leveraging their brand identity. Making SCHUBERTH visible on the road was the first step to get their helmets in - and on - everyone's heads.

Taking a step back from crowded and busy graphics, the future of SCHUBERTH helmets is meant to be simple, yet bold. We developed a graphic style that ties the entire range together, tailoring the brand's image and making them clearly identifiable at street level.

Graphics and product design are meant to be developed side by side.

We shaped SCHUBERTH‘s helmets holistically - integrating the work of product managers, product designers and graphic designers to create a helmet line-up that satisfied different riders and shared common design traits.

From brand positioning to prototyping. We are strategic and hands-on.

We didn’t just start out by (re-)designing graphics and products. We analysed SCHUBERTH’s core values by reviewing their whole line-up. Together, we meticulously planned out future products and visuals for their new market direction. In close collaboration with SCHUBERTH, we then took care of the entire design process, from ideation to in-house prototyping.

This led to the C4, the evolution of SCHUBERTH’s top-of-the-line flip-up helmet. The R2 followed closely after. Both were debuted with great reception at INTERMOT in 2016.

Products carry brand identity, and brand identity carries business: SCHUBERTH‘s production had to work double shifts to meet the new demand and deliver the helmets for 2017.

"We’re proud to work with KISKA on our path into the future. We value the tight partnership, as well as the success and positive impact it’s made on the market."
